Two large barns with agricultural worker’s mobile home

DJM Town Planning was instructed to help a Sussex based farming family set up their new farming enterprise in the High Weald.

Over a period of three years, working closely with the local planning authority, and despite tight planning controls on new rural enterprises, we obtained permission for two large agricultural barns and an agricultural workers’ mobile home. This enabled the family to move permanently onto their landholding and Buds Farm was born.

Now in its third year, the farm is a rural success story, supplying retailers and customers with locally produced beef, pork, lamb, chicken and eggs.
